Omni Control Review

Hey guys I just thaught I'd give you a little review of the Numark Omni Control.

The Pros

Price
This unit is incredibely cheap for a dedicated Traktor controller

Reliability
I've had the unit for three months now and there is no sign of Numarks crappy build reputation.

Portability

It's USB Powered so no need for plub sockets.

The Cons

The Hercules RMX which is virtually the same controller has 2 RCA inputs makeing it a better unit for the marginal price increase.

It's quite a limited controller can't be upgraded etc.

Shoddy feel to the controller

Conclusion

This controller is perfect for what I wanted which was a cheap solution to |DJ'ing while I saved up for better gear.

It may also be useful for mobile DJ's as i find mine incredibely easy to transport, It fits in most laptop bags for instance.

It haas a robust metal outer caseing but fiddly knobs and faders.

The inputs are the biggest and only real advantage of the RMX,

But they are a big advantage.
